Web Guy: What kind of bike are you riding?
Ron: As of November 2009 I ride an 09 Streetglide. Since Rhonda doesn't ride with me that much any more, I traded in my 94 Ultra Classic .
Web Guy: How long have you been a rider?
Ron: I have been riding off and on since I was 14 years of age. Started out on a home made mini-bike and then up to a whopping Honda 50 street bike when I was 17. I rode my best friends Honda 350 from 1970 to 1974 more than he did. Started riding again with Rhonda on the back in 2006 on a Honda VT500FT after going through the motorcycle safety course. Decided we wanted more so Rhonda and I bought a 04 Sportster in 07. In late 07 we bought the 94 Ultra and in 09 traded for the Streetglide.
Web Guy: How many miles do you average each year?
Ron: I have been averaging approximately 10,000 miles each year.
Web Guy: How long have you been a hog member?
Ron: Rhonda and I started going to the HOG meetings in October 07 at the invitation of Fredrico and Melissa Cedillo and liked what we saw so we became members.
Web Guy: What has been your favorite ride?
Ron: I think my favorite ride was with this HOG group on the 09 FBR. I really enjoyed that ride and the friendships that came from it.
Web Guy: Tell me a little about yourself?
Ron: I was born in Roswell New Mexico and was raised in Southern California. Enlisted in the US Navy in 1970 and retired after 20 years of service in 1990. I have been married to my best friend for 29 years now and hope we go for many more. We both ride Harley-Davidson motorcycles and enjoy every ride with each other. We have lived in the Oak Harbor since 1987 and will probably stay here.
